August has been an incredibly hectic month, mostly because I’ve been hobbling around with a broken leg! But I am so, so happy that I’m finally able to reveal September’s mail club edition!

”The Witch and the Wolf” is an original linocut reduction print, available in two colour ways; Sage, and Silver, as well as a limited single colour edition on mulberry paper. It is printed by hand on 300gsm Arches Hot Press Watercolour paper using Cranfield Relief Inks.
The Sage edition is limited to 15 original prints, and each one is unique and individual from the next. As they are printed from a hand-carved lino block, there are areas of what we call “chatter’, or left over sections where the lino has picked up ink. Rather than try to strive for perfection, these little marks serve as fingerprints to each print - no two are the same.
As it is a reduction print, the original block gets destroyed in the process of creation, so it cannot be replicated or printed again beyond its edition.
The print area itself is 9” x 7”, printed on a 12” x 8” sheet. Each one is hand numbered, titled and signed, and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.
Original artworks are shipped in secure flat packaging, unmounted and unframed. Both standard and tracked options are available. Please note that your order may be subject to additional taxes, import duties and customs duties if purchasing from outside the UK.
“Sleepy Minun - Watercolour” is a hand-carved and hand-painted piece of original artwork featuring the lovely little Pokemon, Minun. It was based on an older watercolour sketch that I’d done that I thought would make a lovely lino print, and was an experiment to see if I could combine my two favourite art mediums - linoprinting and watercolour painting.
I carved the lino in a way to give the impression of my original sketchy pen lines, and then once the ink was dry, I went back in and hand-painted each print in this limited edition with Schmincke Horadam watercolours.
Each and every print is unique because of this hand-painted nature, and I can honestly say I had a happy little smile on my face as I was painting each and every one :)
Each one is hand numbered, titled and signed, and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity, and there are 25 in this edition. They will not be reproduced once the edition is sold out.
